Paul Coaches Promising Youngsters at Lord’s

At a recent event at Lord’s Cricket Ground, lucky youngsters from Barrow Hill Junior School were given the chance of one-to-one coaching with Paul as guest of organizers, Arnold House School.

Ross, a teacher of teacher of Barrow Hill Junior School had the following to say about the training session in a short write-up:

“On Tuesday morning, a select group of Year 5 and Year 6 children went to Lord’s for a very special coaching session with ex-England wicketkeeper (Leicestershire captain and master of the reverse sweep) Paul Nixon.

Running through a number of fast-paced drills, the children really impressed with their accurate fielding. Local school Arnold House were holding an event on the Nursery Ground on Tuesday and they had very kindly offered us the coaching session between 11:30 and 12:30. That was a lovely gesture, warmly accepted.”
